Learn the roles, rights and responsibilities of the shop steward as a problem solver. Level 1 covers the basics of identifying and handling complaints and grievances. Please bring your collective agreement.

Collective Bargaining* - Price: $175.00
Develop your understanding of the collective bargaining process and the skills you'll need to participate. Learn about preparations, bargaining proposals from the membership, key contract clauses and current bargaining issues. Analyze union and management tactics in a "mock bargaining" session. Bring a copy of your collective agreement and a calculator.

Talk Back! Principles of Union Debate* - Price: $99.00
Talk Back is a course to help participants gain insight and experience in debating principle union positions on issues like seniority vs. merit, public-private partnerships, equality rights; gain confidence making your point. Do you have the skills to represent and defend your perspective? This is a hands on discussion and debating course you should take to improve your public speaking and debating skills.

Women in Leadership (4 Days) - Price: $175.00
This course offers union women an opportunity to develop and enhance their leadership skills and knowledge of a variety of current and emerging labour issues. A major component of this course will cover communication and motivational skills that are so important for women activists. Participants will leave ready to take on a more active role in their unions.
