TILMA is a BAD DEAL for Yukoners!

The Yukon is a territory of individualists, people who have grown strong in a place where our voices can still be heard.  The TILMA deal will strip our lawmakers of their power, jeopardize our autonomy and endanger the rights of municipal and First Nations governments, and even our territorial government to decide what is right for Yukoners.  Our policies should not be made by corporations, by Outside interests. We are Yukoners - the decisions belong to us.

TILMA is the new Trade Investment Labour Mobility Agreement.  Find out what the BC and Alberta government's new inter-provincial trade agreement REALLY means for Canadians, and make your voice heard.  This deal was signed in secret, without any public consultation and without consulting duly elected lawmakers.

The Yukon Government is considering signing on to this agreement. It is up to all Yukoners to speak up, let the Premier and all elected officials know that TILMA is BAD FOR THE YUKON and we don’t want it.  We urge all Yukoners to learn everything they can about this dangerous trade deal.

The YUKON is NOT INTERESTED in TILMA!

Q.  Why does TILMA put our public interest                                  Q. Are interprovincial trade

individuals, operating solely within the                                               that the Yukon needs to

Q.  Why would any government abrogate its

interest of its citizens, and open itself up to

awards and penalties that only the taxpayer

is liable for?
